Admissions Details
School Day
Early Years runs 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Primary and Secondary run 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a mid-morning break from 9:30 am to 9:50 am and a lunch break from 11:50 am to 12:30 pm. Breakfast clubs run from 6:30 am for working parents, and ECAs may extend the day.
Student Life
DBS uses a British house system to foster belonging and healthy competition. Each house represents an element of Qatar, and students participate in inter-house competitions throughout the year.
Primary students wear a DBS polo shirt with skorts or shorts and an optional navy jumper. Years 1–6 wear a DBS shirt with skirts or trousers and a PE kit. Secondary students wear a DBS shirt with skirts or trousers and a compulsory house tie, with a blazer optional. Sixth Form students wear a blazer and tie with a white shirt; House T-Shirts are optional for sports and House events. Uniforms are purchased at Zaks Uniform Store Doha, Al Rayyan Municipality, Industrial Area Road.
Food service is provided on site via school cafeterias. Lunch is served for secondary students from 11:50 am to 12:30 pm. A Breakfast Club is available before school from 6:30 am for working parents.

Wellbeing & Safety
Mental wellbeing is supported by school-based counselling services, with a Primary Wellbeing Counsellor (Jessica Adams Johnson) and Secondary Wellbeing Counsellor (Maryam Whitehead). The service addresses family and peer relationships, body image, self-confidence, emotional regulation, exam stress, mood changes, and illness, with the aim of building resilience, coping skills, and understanding of relationships.
