Admissions Process

School Day
Kindergarten days begin at 8:50am; K1 finishes at 1:30pm, while K2–K3 finish at 3:20pm, with clubs and activities running until about 4:10pm. The Elementary program runs from 8:50am to 3:20pm, with after-school clubs continuing until around 4:10pm.
Student Life
Pupils are grouped into houses, with house activities forming part of MIS life including collaborative and competitive opportunities. House T-shirts are part of the MIS uniform.
Uniform is required from K2 onward. Items are purchased from Kanko Shop Higashi Nihonbashi Ltd. and Top of the Class. The school bag is part of the uniform; the Starter Kit for new students is ordered through Kanko Shop. Items include chinos, backpacks, house T-shirts, shoes, and a cap/hat.
Students may bring a lunch or order school lunches from Luca Deli Organic Kitchen. Reservations and cancellations are handled directly with Luca Deli Organic Kitchen via their online system, and monthly orders are placed by the 25th of the month prior to delivery.
