Admissions Process

  1. 1For KG–Year 2: Complete application form (online or at reception), pay 20 KD interview/entrance test fee, attend interview on fixed date; results given immediately with list of required documents to submit within required period or seat is lost. 2. For Year 3–Year 12: Complete application form, sit entrance exam in Mathematics and English, parents informed of results by phone; if satisfactory, student interviewed by Head of Department; documents submitted within required period; once accepted, registration fees paid at Accounting Department within required period or seat is lost. 3. Waiting list used when year level is full; qualifying applicants placed on list and contacted when a seat becomes available.

School day runs from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm on weekdays.

Student Life

Uniform

Uniform must be worn correctly at school and on trips and is monitored by staff. Summer Uniform: navy trousers, white polo shirt with IAK logo, black shoes with white socks; Summer PE kit required. Winter Uniform: navy trousers, white polo shirt with IAK logo, navy sweater, black shoes with white socks; Winter PE kit includes a navy sweater (no logo) and trainers. Uniform can be purchased from the school uniform shop; a temporary alternative may be worn if the correct size is unavailable.
