Wellbeing & Safety

Pastoral & Mental Health

TEA places student well-being at the core of its offer. The Pastoral Team provides care and guidance; PSHE is delivered weekly for younger students and through form tutor time in secondary. Zones of Regulation support KS2 students with emotion management. Enrichment activities including the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Model United Nations promote inclusion and personal growth. Ongoing communication with families supports students' mental well-being.

Safeguarding & Child Protection

TEA operates a Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy with a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy. Staff undergo mandatory safeguarding training three times per year. The policy requires immediate response to concerns, use of the Think PIE approach for recording disclosures, and escalation pathways involving the School Principal, Chair of Directors, and external agencies. Safer Recruitment procedures and safe working practices are also outlined.
