Admissions Process
- 1Admission usually starts between December and January. Submit application and supporting documents (passport photo, birth certificate, most recent school report, copies of parents' education certificates) to the Admissions Office. 2. Administration contacts applicants with an assessment date; the child may be placed on a waiting list if spaces are unavailable. Older students are tested individually in English, Maths and Arabic, followed by an interview with the School Director. 3. If a place is awarded, the first instalment of school fees must be paid to confirm enrolment. 4. For Pre-KG (Language School): submit admission form online by email; child must be at least 3 years 6 months old by October 1 and pass interview and tests; parents must be able to converse in English. 5. For British International School Foundation 1: child must be 4 years old by October 1; submit admission form online; documents required include birth certificate, recent photograph, nursery report, and parents' university qualifications and National IDs. Admissions Office hours: Sun–Thu 9am–2pm.

School Day
School starts at 7:30 am. Elwy Language School runs 7:30 am–2:30 pm and Elwy British International School runs 7:30 am–2:45 pm. A bell rings at 7:45 am to welcome students; punctuality is emphasised and late arrivals must report to the headmistress.
Student Life
There is a house system with inter-house competitions, fostering team spirit and healthy competition among students throughout the school year.
The school uniform is blue and yellow and must be worn at all times. PE uniform is worn on PE days and school trip days. Black shoes and white socks are worn with the school uniform; black or white trainers with the PE uniform. Boys must have short, conventional haircuts; girls' hair must be tied back neatly with only white or blue hair accessories permitted.

The School Board governs Elwy Schools. The Board of Trustees consists of the school principal and five parent trustees elected from different educational stages, three teachers, a social worker, and five public figures.
