Admissions Process

  1. 1Submit an online application at alsson.com with soft copies of child's photo, birth certificate, and both parents' ID. 2. Registrar contacts family with an assessment date; an invitation does not guarantee a place and applicants may be placed on a waiting list. 3. Older students undertake MAP (American) or GL (British) tests online in school plus an oral assessment; Early Years children are assessed by EY/EC staff against developmental age. 4. If tests are satisfactory, families are invited to a final interview with the School Director(s). 5. If a place is awarded, registration must be completed within five working days and required payments made to confirm enrolment.

Student Life

House System

There are four Houses: Karnak (blue), Memphis (green), Siwa (yellow) and Thebes (red). House activities and competitions are part of school life.

Uniform

The uniform consists of navy blue trousers or shorts with yellow and/or blue tops. A sports uniform is required from Grade 2 in the American Elementary School and Year 3 in the British Primary School. The Uniform Shop operates on campus; veils must be navy blue or white; sandals are not allowed; denim and non-uniform clothing are prohibited.
