Admissions Process
- 1The process begins upon entry and is overseen by the Department of Servicios Especiales. Students are evaluated by psychologists and speech-language pathologists to assess support needs. The psychological evaluation includes emotional assessment tests and a family interview; findings are shared with teachers. The speech-language evaluation assesses language, literacy, numeracy and general learning abilities. 2. Post-admission counselling provides support to parents and teachers, with external referrals as needed. 3. Small-group attention is provided based on evaluations; the Thinking Skills Program is implemented for PYP levels. 4. Individual Educational Plans are designed in collaboration with teachers based on diagnostic results, reviewed periodically, and kept in the student's file.
