Admissions Process
- 1Submit an online application via the school's online portal. 2. Supply documentation including the child's most recent school report, a coloured photo, and copies of child's, mother's and father's visas, Emirates IDs and passports. 3. Admissions contacts within 1-2 school days to arrange an entry appointment: Year 2–Year 13 pupils attend a CAT4 session with a written piece and interview with the Head of School (Tuesdays on campus or Mondays online for overseas applicants); Year 1 sessions on Thursdays; Nursery–FS2 play sessions on Wednesdays. 4. A decision is emailed on Friday at the end of the assessment week. An offer letter includes deposit instructions and ADEK eSIS registration details; a start date and class assignment are issued upon completion.
Admissions Details
School Day
In Early Years the day runs from 7:20 AM to 1:30 PM. For older year groups, early starts are around 7:50 AM with a typical finish around 3:00 PM. The academic year runs from August to July with term dates confirmed by ADEK.
Student Life
Pupils are allocated to co-educational Houses led by a Housemaster or Housemistress. Senior School houses: Chichester, Fenwick, Hampden and Ryle. Prep School houses: Hosn, Bithnah, Fujairah and Jahili. Pre-Prep School houses: Futaisi, Saadiyat, Yas and Lulu. Pupils compete across a wide range of house events including singing, swimming, entrepreneurship and Tug-o-War.
Uniform is compulsory for all pupils. The official uniform supplier is Zaks; items can be purchased at the Zaks store in Al Mushrif Mall (level 1, near Pappa Roti) or ordered online via the Zaks website.
Catering provided by Emirates Taste Catering Services. Meals prepared daily using high-quality ingredients, free from artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners, texture-altering chemicals, additives, trans-fats, GMOs or preservatives. An online portal allows parents to register and top up the pupil's food and beverage account.
Wellbeing & Safety
Pupil wellbeing is described as central to school life. Wellbeing is overseen by the Head of Early Years and Deputy Head (Pastoral). A Local Advisory Board member serves as Lead Counsellor. The school emphasises emotional development, PSHE and the Pelican Pathway of values in Pre-Prep, with pastoral structures supporting mental health across all phases.
