Admissions Process

Upload required documents including birth certificate and/or passport, report cards, and teacher recommendation forms; boarding applicants also submit a two-minute introductory video. 3. Admissions Office reviews the application and contacts applicants to schedule interview and assessment. 4. Interview and assessment are mandatory for all boarding applicants; Grades 7–8 present a portfolio; Grades 9–11 may complete Branksome Hall entrance tests or the SSAT. 5. All applicants receive an admissions decision within two weeks of completing the full process. 6. Guardian arrangements required for international boarding students whose parents do not reside in Toronto.

Student Life

House System

Clan system with eight Clans in Junior School and eight in Senior and Middle School, named for Branksome's Scottish roots. Every student and staff member belongs to a Clan. Clan placement can be influenced by a sibling's or alum's Clan, and junior Clans are twinned with senior Clans. Annual Spirit events and Clan leadership structures featuring Clan Leaders and a Clan Prefect.

Uniform

Uniform program is required for all students. JK–Grade 5 uniforms cost approximately CAD 750–900; Grade 6 uniforms approximately CAD 1,000; Grades 7–12 uniforms approximately CAD 1,100.
