Admissions Process
- 1Prospective family contacts the school via the Application Form on the website or by telephone. 2. The Communications Department acknowledges receipt and outlines next steps. 3. An appointment is scheduled for a preliminary visit and meeting with the Director or Principal. During the visit, the Principal and School Psychological Counsellor meet the student and administer a School Readiness Assessment (Year 1), general evaluation (Years 2–8), or interview and academic evaluation (Years 9–12). Previous school reports are reviewed. 4. Results are shared with parents. 5. Parents complete Registration Forms and are informed about the Financial Policy by the Admissions Department.
School Day
The main BIS school day runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pre-School offers shorter hours: half-day 8:30 am–12:00 pm; half-day with lunch 8:30 am–1:00 pm; full day 8:30 am–3:30 pm.
Student Life
Uniforms are required across Pre-School, Primary and Secondary levels. Edessa Textile is the official uniform provider, with a dedicated Maslak shop and an online purchase option.
