Admissions Process
- 1Schedule a school tour by appointment; the School Head discusses educational goals and an admissions pack is provided. Step 2: Submit application, application fee, and required documents (proof of age, teacher recommendations, Health History, Medical Certificate for ages 5+). Step 3: Parent and child interview and observation; children aged 4+ are evaluated on English listening and speaking; elementary children are also assessed in language arts and mathematics. Step 4: School reviews application and makes admission decision; if admitted, enrollment instructions and invoicing follow.
Admissions Details
A formal waitlist policy is not published for general admissions. For certain programs (e.g., Afternoon Class), admission is based on availability of space and families are informed if a waitlist applies when determining a start date.
School Day
Before School Care runs from 7:55 a.m. to 8:25 a.m. After School Care ends at 3:30 p.m., with Extended After School Care available until 5:00 p.m.
Student Life
Uniforms are required. Preschool: green t-shirt with YCS logo and hoodies for colder months; dark colored bottoms encouraged but not mandatory. Elementary: Kelly-green polo with navy bottoms (slacks or skirts); girls wearing skirts or skorts must wear knee socks in navy or white.
Students aged 3 and above can order a bento from Cezars Kitchen, the meal service also used by Saint Maur International School, providing a lunch option for YCS students.

Mental wellbeing is supported through pastoral care provided by a School Chaplain, offering spiritual and emotional support within a nurturing Christian community.
