Admissions Process
- 1Book a tour by submitting the Book a Tour form or calling +971 4 560 2000; tours are conducted daily. 2. Submit the online application form. 3. Attend an assessment in person at the school or via Zoom. 4. If offered a place, pay the application fee (AED 525) and enrolment fee (10% of annual tuition) within 7 days of the offer. 5. Sign the KHDA parent contract and complete fee payments by UAE debit/credit card, bank transfer, or cheque. 6. Note that tuition excludes transport, uniforms, food, and any EAL or SEN learning support charges.
Admissions Details
School Day
School start times vary by year group: FS1 drop-off from 7:40 am, FS2 from 8:00 am, and KS1/KS2 from 7:30 am (students to classroom by 7:55 am). On Monday–Thursday, FS1 finishes at 1:15 pm, FS2 at 1:45 pm, KS1 and KS2 around 3:00–3:10 pm. Friday finishes are earlier: FS1 at 11:00 am, FS2 at 11:15 am, KS1/KS2 at 11:30–11:40 am. After-school enrichment runs 3:00–3:45 pm and 3:45–4:30 pm (Mon–Thu), with a 12:00–1:30 pm option on Friday.
Student Life
All pupils must wear the full school uniform at all times. Hair must be tied back, jewellery is limited to a single plain stud per ear, and no makeup or nail varnish is permitted. Children may choose their own backpacks but wheelie bags and coloured trainers are not allowed.
VHPS follows a Healthy Eating Policy that governs snacks and lunches. Parents provide meals meeting nutritional guidelines including a protein source, complex carbohydrates, calcium, and fruit/vegetables; nuts and pork are not allowed, and sweets, chocolates, crisps and fizzy drinks should be avoided. A water supply is readily available to pupils throughout the day.
