When a vacancy arises, the admissions office schedules assessment dates, prioritising waiting-list applicants. 4. Assessments vary by year group: play sessions for KG1–KG2; basic writing, phonics, and number work for Years 1–2; online English and Mathematics assessments for Years 3–10; interviews and Year 10 reports for Year 11; minimum grade requirements for Years 12–13. 5. Assessment results are emailed approximately one week after testing. 6. Upon acceptance, pay the registration fee and school fees and submit all required documentation to confirm enrolment. Priority order: EMS staff children, siblings of current students, EMS alumni children, students from other EMS campuses, then all other qualifying applicants.

School Day
School days begin at 7:25 am. KG1–KG2 finish at 12:30 pm; Years 1–12 finish at 1:47 pm. After-school activities run on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm. Office hours are 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Student Life
EMS Khor operates a four-house system: Red Scorpions, Blue Falcons, Yellow Vipers, and Green Dragons. Students are pre-allocated to a house on entry and participate in house activities and competitions. A senior student leadership team and house reward points system are in place.
A compulsory school uniform is required for all students. A separate PE uniform is required for physical education lessons. Students arriving without the correct uniform may be asked to obtain it before entering lessons. Parents are advised to label clothing with the student's name or initials; unclaimed items are disposed of at the end of each term.
An on-site catered cafeteria is available at the Khor campus. Parents may supplement with packed lunches. The school emphasises healthy food choices such as sandwiches with fresh ingredients, fruits or vegetables, and water or fresh juice. Carbonated and high-energy drinks are not permitted, and water bottles are not sold in the cafeteria.
