Admissions Process
- 1Check eligibility and verify year group. 2) Submit Enquiry Form and create an account; admissions representative responds within 1–2 business days. 3) Complete Application Form and pay ¥40,000 non-refundable application fee. 4) Submit checklist items and school reference to be placed in the application pool. 5) Interview or assessment scheduled when space is foreseen (late February through late June). 6) Admissions decisions begin in early March through summer. 7) If offered a place, pay non-refundable enrolment fee of ¥500,000 and Educational Resources fee of ¥680,000; tuition billed by term via bank transfer.
Admissions Details
BST uses an application pool system. Applicants are placed in the pool after submitting all documents and a school reference. For full year groups decisions may not be clear until May or later, meaning applicants may remain in the pool for an extended period.
Student Life
BST uses a four-House system: Amaterasu, Bishamon, Izanami and Tsukiyomi. Inter-House competitions take place throughout the year in sports and arts, including Sports Day and the House Singing competition.
Uniform is required and governed by a Uniform Guide and Uniform Policy. It can be purchased online through the official uniform supplier with next business day delivery to either campus. Secondary PE uniform is supplied by a separate company.
Most students bring their own lunch. Years 7 and above can order Kiwi Kitchen delivery. A canteen for Year 10–13 is run by Showa Women's University on campus.

Mental wellbeing is supported through a dedicated Counselling team offering one-to-one, class, and transition sessions, a Social and Emotional Support team providing interventions, BST Nurses, and medical care as part of the Student Support Services.
