Admissions Process
- 1Submit the online admissions application via Ravenna; create a family account and applicant profile; applications for 2026-2027 open September 1, 2025, with deadlines of October 31 (PK3–5th/CM2) and November 21 (6th/6ème–12th/Tle). 2. Submit parent statement (all grades) and student statement (grades 6–12); pay $200 non-refundable application fee; upload required materials by mid-January. 3. Complete required standardised admissions tests: WPPSI or WISC for PK4–5th grade; ISEE for 6th–12th grade, scheduled through CATs or ERB. 4. Book in-person tours through Ravenna (available September through December after application submission). 5. Files reviewed by the Admissions Committee; decisions communicated in early March. 6. Waitlist pool is unranked and remains open until the first day of school; if admitted, respond by enrollment deadline (March 25, 2026). 7. Admissions Details
An unranked waiting pool exists and remains open until the first day of school. Families are contacted immediately if a place becomes available. If no place is offered, families should re-apply for the following academic year.
School Day
The school day runs 7:55 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. for Middle and Upper School, 8:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. for Lower School, and 8:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. for Early Learning.
Student Life
Uniforms must be purchased through Dennis Uniforms or the Used Uniform store. All students in Kinder/GS and above must wear the school uniform; average cost is USD 200–250. A free P.E. uniform (shorts and T-shirt) is issued during the first week of school; additional uniforms can be purchased at the School Store.
SAGE Dining Services manages the school food service; the daily menu is posted in the myAWTY portal; lunch and snacks are included in tuition; the school maintains a nut-free and peanut-free environment; for students with severe food allergies, Magnus Health documentation and an action plan are required on file at the School Clinic.

Wellbeing & Safety
Awty's Wellness Counselors collaborate with the pedagogical team and parents to promote the academic success and social-emotional well-being of students. Counselors provide observation, consultation, SEL opportunities, character education, and special programs. Students may self-refer or be referred by administrators, teachers, or parents. Counselors also offer parenting forums and family meetings. Named counselors include Penny Cleveland (Head of Wellness Counseling), Bhavin Misra (Secondary School Counselor), Claudia Escalante (Lower School Counselor), and Kimberly Hight (Early Learning Counselor).
Abuse prevention training is encouraged for parents. Volunteers must complete a background check and volunteer training as part of onboarding. Wellness Counselors collaborate with families and the pedagogical team to safeguard student well-being and can refer families to community resources.
