Wellbeing & Safety
The school embeds mental health awareness into daily life via a whole-school well-being approach, including embedding well-being into the curriculum and routines, encouraging emotional self-awareness and resilience, and using Cognita's 'Be Well' charter initiatives like Global Be Well Day. Teachers receive mental health awareness training, with an open-door policy for staff–student communication and early detection of anxiety, stress, or emotional issues. Parents are involved through the school's community ethos and wellness initiatives.
The school defines safeguarding as protecting children from harm and ensuring healthy development. All staff undergo background checks and ongoing safeguarding training.
