Wellbeing & Safety
Well-being is integrated into the educational ethos. Core values of Moral Integrity, Ambition, Responsibility and Kindness foster resilience, self-esteem and respect for others. Supportive, responsive teaching values diversity and promotes a positive sense of belonging. Teachers build relationships to support each learner's emotional and physical development, and parents are encouraged as active partners in their child's well-being.
A Child Protection Policy prioritises keeping learners safe from abuse and harm. It outlines staff responsibilities and training requirements, and clear procedures for identifying, responding to and reporting concerns. A rights-based, learner-centred approach ensures equal protection across all activities and facilities, with transparent communication of guidelines to staff, parents and contractors. The school cooperates with relevant authorities when necessary.
