Student Life
NES has four houses: Aqaba, Jerash, Petra and Wadi Rum. Students are assigned to a house on entry, with families and siblings placed in the same house. The system encourages teamwork, participation over winning, and a sense of pride and belonging. House points are awarded for positive behaviour, uniform, shared language use, kindness, courtesy, punctuality and participation. House activities include House Days, Poetry, General Knowledge, Rugby, Basketball, Science, Book Week, Football, Maths, Cake Sale, Spelling Bee and Green Week.
School uniform is mandatory and must be worn with pride across all year groups.
On-site cafeteria with food handling supervised by School Health Services. Students bring their own water bottle and food boxes; no sharing permitted; water refills are available on campus.
