Admissions Process
- 1Enquiry and/or school tour. Step 2: Online application via OpenApply (each child requires a separate application). Step 3: Admissions interview, including in-person session with the child; initial online interviews available for families outside Nanjing. Step 4: Assessment — MAP assessment for Grade 3 and above; WIDA English language test for Grade 9+ non-English home language applicants. Admissions Details
If a grade level reaches capacity, students are placed in a waiting pool (waitlist). A diversity policy limits any single nationality group to a maximum of 30% at any grade level.
School Day
Early Years follow a full-day schedule starting at 8:00 a.m. and finishing at 3:00 p.m. Primary School schedules are issued by the homeroom teacher, and Secondary timetables are managed by school leadership as part of the IB continuum.
Student Life
Three houses: Taiping, WuTaiShan, and XuanWu. Members include students, parents, and staff; inter-house competitions are held throughout the year, and the house with the most points is awarded the house shield.
Students in Grades 1–12 have options from Western Grill, Asian Station, Salad Bar, and Sandwich Bar, with Vegetarian and Daily Special choices.
