Pastoral & Mental Health

A proactive, school-wide Counselling programme addresses academic and social-emotional development from Pre-K to Grade 12. The University Counselling Programme emphasises personal development and wellness. The JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) initiative underpins everyday practice to build belonging and remove barriers to learning.

Safeguarding & Child Protection

Child Protection procedures are based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and organised into Prevention, Operational, and Strategic components. All employees, contractors, and volunteers undergo police checks; a Code of Conduct is signed by staff; clear reporting pathways exist for abuse or neglect. A designated Child Protection Officer, Child Protection Team, and Child Response Team coordinate safeguarding. The NIS Child Protection Policy is available in English, Chinese, and Korean.
