Wellbeing & Safety

Pastoral & Mental Health

MGIS provides mental wellbeing support through a dedicated social worker who promotes awareness, maintains confidential records, and collaborates with teachers and parents to develop and monitor support plans. The social worker coordinates with external professionals, including counselors and psychologists, when needed. A tiered inclusion system (Tier 1–3) supports wellbeing and learning with individualized plans created where necessary.

Safeguarding & Child Protection

MGIS follows an IB-aligned safeguarding policy that defines staff responsibilities and designates a safeguarding lead. There are clear reporting channels, anti-bullying and digital-safeguarding measures, and annual safeguarding training for staff. Safeguarding elements are also embedded in the Inclusion and SEN policies, including confidential student records and collaboration with external agencies.
