Online applicants select a preferred entrance examination date during the application process. 5. Overseas students sit tests at announced overseas centres. 6. JS1 entry requires the candidate to be at least 10 years old and to have completed Grade 5 or 6; tests cover Mathematics/Quantitative Aptitudes, English/Verbal Aptitudes, and General Paper; a testimonial from the previous school is required. 7. Transfer students to JS2, JS3, and SS1 are tested in English, Mathematics, and Basic Science with a testimonial required. 8. SS2 transfers (Arts and Commercial) are tested in English, Mathematics, and Government/Economics.
