Admissions Process
- 1Attend an open event or book a campus visit. 2. Submit the online application form and pay the registration fee (RM 500 Primary / RM 530 Secondary). 3. Complete entry assessments: Early Years and Primary use informal speaking and writing tests or CAT4; Secondary Years 7–10 use CAT4 with English, writing and speaking tests; Year 12 requires specified IGCSE grades. 4. Receive an offer; pay the admittance fee (RM 5,000 Primary / RM 5,300 Secondary) and a refundable deposit equal to one term's tuition.

Boarding Life
Boarding is available for Year 7 through Sixth Form. KTJ has eight boarding houses: one junior boarding house and seven senior houses (three girls' houses and four boys' houses). Sixth Form boarding is compulsory. Day students in Years 7–8 join Naquiah Day House and Years 9–11 join Rahman Day House. Boarding fees include food, most CCAs, laundry, and an annual residential trip for Years 7–10.
School Day
Weekdays: wake-up 06:30–07:00, morning lessons 08:00–13:30, lunch 13:30–14:30, afternoon lessons 14:30–16:00, after-school CCAs 16:30–17:30, dinner 18:15–19:30, study/prep 19:45–22:00 (year group dependent). Saturday schedules revolve around activities and weekend programmes.
Student Life
KTJ has eight boarding houses — one junior house and seven senior houses. Day students belong to Naquiah Day House (Years 7–8) and Rahman Day House (Years 9–11). House events include House Nights and activities organised by house staff.
