House System

ISD uses a four-house system called the House League: Pi Xiu, Dragon, Phoenix, and Bi Xi. Students participate in mixed-age house teams and earn points throughout the year, leading to a year-end trophy.

Uniform

ISD has a school uniform designed by ISD high school students and chosen by the student body. Clothing must be modest, neat, and clean, of solid color and free of advertisements or symbols for alcohol, tobacco, or drugs. Hats are permitted during athletic activities; bandanas are not considered hats. Tuition includes one PE uniform set; additional items available via the ISD online uniform store.
