Admissions Process
- 1Applicants must meet eligibility categories defined in the Science Park bilingual school regulations (children of Science Park employees, foreign employees, employees dispatched abroad, siblings of current students, or qualifying foreign professionals). First-year applicants must be at least six years old by September 1. 2) For Semester 1, Round 1 applications run April 30–June 10 with assessment on June 17; Round 2 runs July 6–August 11 with assessment on August 11. Second semester applications run November 30–January 6. 3) Required documents include application form, passports (foreign applicants), academic records, proof of entry/exit dates, birth certificates, employer letter, and foreign residence permits where applicable. A non-refundable qualification screening fee of NTD 200 is charged. 4) Eligible applicants must pass a language entrance test to receive an admission qualification. 5) If qualified applicants exceed available seats, a priority order determines admission; ties within the same sequence are resolved by lottery. 6) If a grade level remains below 80% enrollment after the priority process, the school may admit applicants under expanded eligibility categories. 7) Admitted students are notified and complete enrollment formalities including textbook ordering and club enrollment.
Admissions Details
There is no traditional waitlist. When applicants exceed available seats for a grade level, admissions are allocated by a defined priority order. If applicants tied in the same sequence still exceed seats, a lottery determines admission. If seats remain, the school may broaden eligibility to fill up to 80% of authorized capacity.
School Day
The school day starts at 8:00 a.m. for all grades. Grades 7–12 classes run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on most days. Elementary students have a half-day on Wednesdays with dismissal at 12:40 p.m., and Grades 1–2 have adjusted dismissal times on certain days.
Student Life
School lunches are available at NTD 40 per lunch for elementary students and NTD 50 per lunch for middle and high school students. Meal payments are made in advance and billed every two months.
