Admissions Process
- 1Submit completed Application Form with identification documents (passport for Taiwanese citizens; passport and Alien Resident Certificate for international applicants), official transcripts from previous two academic years, and a non-refundable application fee of NT$3,000. Step 2: Admissions Office reviews documents; if criteria met, family is contacted to schedule interview and testing; if no place available, applicant is placed on a waiting list. Step 3: Oral interview and tests conducted (scope varies by programme and grade — PYP G1-5 requires oral interview plus English, Chinese, and Math; MYP G6-8 and G10 require oral interview plus English and Chinese; IGCSE G9 and DP G11-12 require English and Chinese tests; National Programme G7-12 requires bilingual oral interview plus English, Chinese, and Math). Boarding Life
Boarding house for grades 6–12 students, available all days of the week. Facilities include shared bedrooms, a student common centre with kitchen, lounge, meeting rooms, and a game room, plus a gym and laundry facilities. The cafeteria provides buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Night study is supervised each evening. A refundable TWD 8,000 medical emergency deposit is required at check-in.

School Day
School year runs from early September to late June. School hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:25 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (grades 1–12) and 8:00 a.m.–3:05 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Student Life
IIS uses a House System to promote positive student relationships, a sense of belonging, and school identity. Students are assigned to a house group and participate in house activities and competitions.
Uniforms are compulsory for all students. Different uniforms apply for different age ranges, with separate sports and formal wear for activities and occasions.
Lunch is provided daily. Primary students have an afternoon snack break. Grades 9–12 students eat lunch in the university food court and lunch fees are not included in tuition. Boarding students receive buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the school cafeteria.
