Admissions Process

  1. 1An Application Fee of AED 500 plus VAT is payable at registration. Upon acceptance of the Offer Letter, a Registration Deposit equal to 10% of the annual tuition fee is due (non-refundable but adjustable against tuition). Tuition is invoiced from admission and payable in advance of attendance.

School Day

Foundation Stage 1: drop-off 7:15–7:40am, pickup 12:30pm (Mon–Thu) or 11:15–11:30am (Fri). Foundation Stage 2 to Year 6: drop-off 7:15–7:40am, pickup 2:30–2:45pm (Mon–Thu) or 11:15–11:30am (Fri). Registration at 7:40am.

Student Life

House System

Four houses: Gazelles (yellow), Leopards (green), Falcons (blue), and Camels (red). Each House has two Captains and two Deputy Captains elected by Year 3 to Year 6 students. The House system supports activities and competitions and is integrated into the Student Leadership framework.

Uniform

Uniforms are compulsory for all year groups and must be purchased from Threads store at Times Square Mall or via Threads Online Store. Foundation Stage: JPS shorts, checked dress, or skort with blue polo shirt and house-colour hat. Year 1–Year 6: white shirt or blouse with JPS logo, blue tie or tartan necktie, appropriate bottoms, and a house-colour hat.

Food & Dining

The school follows a Healthy Eating and Hygiene for Eating Policy, including a no-nut policy. Healthy options such as vegetables, fruit, yoghurt, whole grains, and hummus are encouraged, while confectionery, sweets, and many processed snacks are restricted. Water is available throughout the day; fizzy drinks and high-sugar beverages are not permitted. Birthdays are typically not celebrated with cakes on site.

Pastoral & Mental Health

The Wellbeing Department promotes social and emotional wellbeing of all pupils, families and staff using the PERMA model of positive psychology. The Wellbeing Team includes Psychologists Helene de Bergeyck and Olivia Gavin and Student Counsellor Natalie Sinclair.

Safeguarding & Child Protection

Designated Safeguarding Lead is Emma Hurst (Deputy Principal), with Deputy DSLs Rachel Higgins (Principal/CEO) and Olivia Gavin (Head of Wellbeing). Policy aligns with UAE child protection requirements; staff receive mandated safeguarding training. A whistleblowing policy is in place.
