Priority categories include school staff (until March), siblings of current Fountainhead students, and Fountainhead Preschool attendees (Early Years only). For other categories, candidates must have cleared assessment tests with a minimum mark; girls may be given priority; random selection via a chit system may occur in the presence of parents.

All students wear a prescribed daily uniform. Requirements include black shoes and black socks. Shorts with the Fountainhead logo may be worn; school-provided PE shorts are used for sport.
