Admissions Process
- 1Complete online application form and pay non-refundable application fee; upload school reports, passport copy, student photo, and subject choices with predicted results. 2. Admissions Office reviews documentation and places applicant on the waiting list pending space availability. 3. Eligible applicants are invited to an academic assessment and interview, conducted in person or online. 4. Successful applicants receive an official offer letter; parents submit acceptance form and two-month tuition deposit. 5. Families receive an enrolment pack and attend an orientation programme before term begins.
Admissions Details
DBIS maintains a waiting list when year groups are at capacity. All processed applications with the fee paid are automatically added. Priority is given based on sibling status, returning family status, and date of application fee payment. Premium School Development Levy (PSDL) holders and discretionary cases approved by the Principal may also receive priority consideration. Applicants are contacted as soon as a suitable place becomes available.
School Day
The school day for Sixth Form students begins at approximately 8:20 a.m. and ends at 3:20 p.m. Students attend classes, tutorials, and supervised study sessions throughout the day. An inter-campus shuttle operates during the school day for students attending lessons at both the Secondary and Sixth Form campuses.
Student Life
Year 12 and Year 13 students are not required to wear the school uniform and should dress appropriately for the academic setting. For PE, DBIS PE shirts or any suitable sportswear may be worn.
Sixth Form students travel to the Main campus for lunch. Two lunchtime sittings are in place: 1:30pm–1:50pm for Years 7, 8, and 10; and 2:00pm–2:20pm for Years 9, 11, 12, and 13.

DBIS employs a school counsellor and designates wellbeing leads within the teaching staff.
