Wellbeing & Safety

Pastoral & Mental Health

The Counseling Team works holistically, integrating identity and development considerations, and collaborates with teachers, families, leadership, and outside providers. All students access SEL through daily learning and health programming and have a dedicated counselor if needed. The program uses a tiered approach and provides immediate care during crises, connecting with outside providers as appropriate.

Safeguarding & Child Protection

The school informs parents at the earliest appropriate juncture about disciplinary events. Serious events may require a three-way conference with the parent, child, and school administration. The school operates in loco parentis, balancing individual needs with maintaining a respectful learning environment. Reports of alarming behavior are thoroughly investigated and reporting individuals are protected from retaliation.
