Admissions Details
ACS(I) uses a waitlist system within the Direct School Admission-Secondary (DSA-Sec) exercise. Waitlisted applicants must indicate school preferences during the School Preference Submission period. Final decisions are made after PSLE results based on vacancies and PSLE performance. A Waitlist Offer does not guarantee admission.
Boarding Life
Boarding rooms come in 6-bed, 4-bed and 2-bed configurations, each with attached bathroom, built-in cupboards, desk, hot water, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Single rooms of 12sqm (with private toilet) and 15sqm, and double rooms of 30sqm are available. Common facilities include lounges, television, internet access, pantry and study rooms. Services include wireless internet, daily laundry, weekly bed linen changes and daily meals.
The Boarding School is led by the Warden (Principal of ACS(I)), with Deputy Wardens who are Deputy Principals. All Hallmasters and Hall Tutors are ACS(I) teachers. Rooms come in configurations of 6 beds, 4 beds or 2 beds, each with attached bathroom, built-in cupboards, desk, hot water, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Common areas include lounges, television, internet access, pantry and study rooms. Single rooms (12sqm and 15sqm) and double rooms (30sqm) are also available.
Student Life
ACS(I) has eight houses: Thoburn House, Oldham House, Cheong Koon Seng House, Tan Kah Kee House, Lee Seng Gee House, Goh Hood Keng House, Shaw Vee Meng House and Tan Chin Tuan House. Each house has its own leadership structure, mascots, and competes in inter-house events including Annual Swimming Championships and Annual Cross Country Championships.
Uniform matters are addressed by two uniform suppliers: BIBI & BABA and FINEST FASHION PTE LTD, with online ordering and in-person purchase options available.
Boarders receive daily meals including breakfast, lunch (on holidays and weekends), dinner and supper.
