Student Life
The school uses an eight-house system: Cheong Koon Seng (CKS), Goh Hood Keng (GHK), Lee Seng Gee (LSG), Oldham (OLD), Shaw Vee Meng (SVM), Tan Chin Tuan (TCT), Thoburn (THO), and Tan Kah Kee (TKK). Heads of House coordinate house activities and pastoral care, supported by House Tutors who monitor academic progress and behaviour within each house.
The full school uniform must be worn with the school badge at all times. Chapel days require a white shirt or blouse with tie, and formal wear is compulsory for designated events such as Founder's Day, Speech Day, and when representing the school. The PE kit is mandatory for PE lessons. Footwear must be plain white or black shoes with white socks, and hair and attire must meet grooming standards. Uniform can be purchased from Popular Book Store behind the canteen or from Bibi&Baba at Far East Shopping Centre.
The canteen is a 550-seat facility serving Chinese, Western and Vegetarian cuisines, along with snacks, and serves as a social and study space for students.
