Admissions Process
- 1Submit online application via acs.openapply.com with required documents including birth certificate, passport, school transcripts, and any applicable results. 2. Sit entrance test (English, Mathematics, possibly Science) on Mondays from 9:30am–2:30pm and attend oral interview with a senior staff member on the same day. 3. Receive admission decision by email; successful applicants receive an acceptance letter and list of forms to complete. 4. Overseas applicants travel to Singapore on a visitor's visa and apply for a Student Pass via ICA eservices. Direct School Admission (DSA) is also available.

Boarding Life
Boarding is provided through separate entities: Oldham Hall and ACS (Independent) Boarding Houses, which are separate legal entities with their own fees and terms. Both offer modern facilities and accommodate students from multiple ACS schools. From 2018, new international students without parental supervision must board at one of these for a minimum of one year. Approved homestay with private families is also available through the International Pastoral Coordinator. Boarding fees are charged separately by the accommodation providers.
From 2018, all new international students residing in Singapore without parental supervision must commit to staying in Oldham Hall or ACS (Independent) Boarding School for a minimum of one year. Both hostels accommodate students from ACS schools and offer modern facilities. A limited number of homestays with private families approved by the school are available through the International Pastoral Coordinator.
School Day
Classes begin at 8:00am. Periods run at 8:45–9:45, 9:55–10:55, 11:00–12:45, 12:50–1:50, and 2:00–3:00. Junior School lunch is 10:55–11:45; Senior School lunch is 11:00–12:00. Chapel is held every Friday. After-school CCAs run from 3:40pm to 6:00pm.
Student Life
Eight Houses each led by a Head of House and House Tutors, with approximately 130 students per House. Inter-House activities and the House Cup run throughout the year as the cornerstone of the school's pastoral network.
The full school uniform must be worn with the school badge at all times. No coloured undershirts are permitted under the uniform; boys' white shirts must be tucked in; trousers must be full-length and not tapered; girls' skirt length must be within 6 cm above the knee. The polo shirt may be worn on non-Chapel days. PE kit is required for PE lessons. Uniform items can be purchased from Pacific Book Store and Bibi&Baba.
Lunch is provided at school via the canteen. Junior School Lunch runs from 10:55am to 11:45am; Senior School Lunch is scheduled around midday during the school day.

Wellbeing & Safety
The school provides a counselling service supporting emotional, social, and academic wellbeing. A specialist Counsellor provides psycho-social support and liaises with external professionals as needed. The International Student Pastoral Care Coordinator, Learning Support Coordinator, and School Nurse also contribute to holistic student wellbeing. Appointments can be arranged by students or parents.
ACS (International) aligns with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, Singapore's Child Protection Services, and the International Task Force on Child Protection. The school has designated Child Protection Officers and clear reporting procedures for concerns including abuse or neglect. Volunteers must complete safeguarding training and background screening, and safeguarding is embedded across procedures and the curriculum.
